“The Glorious Gospel”

Our glorious God has revealed Himself in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” And Romans 10:14 says, “How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher.”

The Church of the Lord Jesus possesses two mighty weapons for spiritual warfare in the conquest of the world – prayer and preaching. Jesus raises up mighty preachers to proclaim His gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. And, His church must fervently pray for the gospel to prevail so that the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
