The Shepherd's Guide is a quality publication partnered with a quality online directory designed to strengthen, edify and unite the Body of Christ by giving Christians in all areas of business an easy and affordable way to reach Christian consumers. The goal of The Shepherd's Guide is to help bring the Christian community closer together, provide Christians in business a unique way to communicate their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, put Christians in the forefront of the community where they belong, and help advance the gospel Jesus Christ by putting money back into the Kingdom through additional tithes and offerings. Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics This is a great source of articles and books on theology and apologetics. You will find it to be well organized and easy to use. Our RESOURCES Policy: We seek to provide you, our guests, with informative and useful links to other sites on the World Wide Web. However, we wish to make it clear that we may not be in full agreement with materials found on every site listed. Further, we cannot possibly guarantee that you will not find questionable or unsuitable links when you visit any of these sites. Where possible we have attempted to provide annotations and explanations for the various links. Please exercise good Christian judgment when visiting any Website, remembering to judge everything by the only final authority, God's Word written. Fire and Ice: Puritan and Reformed Writings This is another good online source of reformed writings. Christian Classics Ethereal Library "Classic Christian books in electronic format, selected for your edification. There is enough good reading material here to last you a lifetime, if you give each work the time it deserves! All of the books on this server are believed to be in the public domain in the United States unless otherwise specified. Copy them freely for any purpose. Outside of the US, check your local copyright laws." The Foundation for Biblical Studies The Foundation for Biblical Studies promotes historical, orthodox biblical theology. This site has the best subtitle of any site on the World Wide Web: The Hall of Church History: Theology from a Bunch of Dead Guys. You will find lots of useful information here, and most of it is from a truly reformed point of view. You will also find a very extensive and well rated set of links to more reformed sites. We especially recommend the pages on "The Reformers". The Works of Prof. Dr. F. N. Lee Dr. Lee is a conservative Theologian who is a prolific writer. He lives in Australia and has multiple earned doctorates. The breadth of his historical knowledge is immense. Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service An excellent bookstore located in Carlisle, PA. Their site allows you to search for a book by title or author. Ages has both an online library and digital libraries on cds for your computer. This site is an excellent source of reformed books, especially if you know what you are looking for. Though broadly evangelical this site has good deals on great Christian literature. However, you must know what you are looking for. We do not recommend that you accept all their offerings as either reformed or even biblical. The founders of this site state the following about their purpose "... to seek a greater public awareness and understanding of American history, ideas, and ideals, particularly as embodied in the lives of the Pilgrims who founded the Plymouth Colony in 1620... their devotion to God and the Bible, to freedom and to tolerance, and their embodiment of courage, brotherhood and individual moral character." You can begin to learn about America's true heritage at this site. Learn about your rights and how you can protect them, your family, and yourself. "The Mission of the Acton Institute is to promote a free and virtuous society characterized by individual liberty and sustained by religious principles." "Political Action From Principle" Constitution Finder "This index offers constitutions, charters, amendments, and other related documents. Nations of the world are listed alphabetically, and each is linked to its constitutional text posted somewhere on the Internet." This is the project of Professor John Paul Jones in the School of Law at the University of Richmond. The Home School Legal Defense Association "The Home School Legal Defense Association is a non-profit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. The Christian Care Ministry is a non-insurance plan where members share one another's medical bills. It promotes healthy trends in eating and lifestyle. In addition to getting news from the conservative side this site also address many issues from the Christian viewpoint. This site bills itself as "Today's News for Today's Church". It deals with issues that should be of particular interest to Christians. Caution, it deals very candidly with issues such as abortion, gay rights, and cults. This site offers news from a conservative perspective. But please be warned that it uses some pop-up advertising. |
